Over the past few months, I have had an amazing adventure in London. I got the chance to learn about new places, meet new people and explore a city filled with rich history and culture. From seeing famous landmarks to riding the double-decker buses, every day taught me something new about myself. I also learned how exciting it can be to experience a different way of life and discover things I had only seen in pictures and history books before. Even though I am excited to head back home to Los Angeles, I am also very sad to leave because this city has become so special to me.
One of the best parts of this journey was coming here with my three friends from my college. We spent so much time together exploring the city, trying new foods, and helping each other through new experiences. Because of this trip, we became even closer friends and made memories we will never forget. We learned how to navigate a new city together and support one another through all the adventures we had.
This experience also showed me how big the world truly is. There are so many countries, cultures and people that we still have not learned about yet. I now feel like I can call London my second home because of how comfortable and welcome I felt here.
