Getting Around Israel

There is a little bit less of a concept of personal space, which takes some getting used to; I think people here are used to it from being in these situations more frequently.

Sometimes I miss my car when I go grocery shopping, but the grocery stores aren't set up in quite the same way as the United States. I'll often shop at one store for fruits and vegetables, another for meats and yet another for cheeses. Spreading out my food shopping means that I don't leave with a cart full of items that need to be loaded into a car. Often, I can just walk them home.
