What main languages are spoken here?:

Kinyarwanda is the main language that everyone speaks in Rwanda. Some people will speak a little French since schools were taught in French until 2008. After that, English became the primary administrative language for the country, meaning that the language of schooling changed from French to English. As a result, students are taught in English now. 

What type of money is used here?:

The currency used is called Rwandan Francs and 1 dollar is equal to around 1,400 Rwandan Francs. The abbrevation is "Rwf".

How much does a bottle of water cost?:

A small bottle of water will cost 500 Rwf.

What was the best meal this week?:

I made breakfast tacos this week for dinner twice! I use a torilla-like bread called chapati and added avocado, eggs, everything-but-the-bagel seasoning that I brought from America and some pickled red onions that I made last week. 

What music did I listen to this week?:

I've been listening to the new J Cole album that was just released. I usually listen to podcasts like the Basement Yard or the Broski Report when I'm walking or doing chores. 

What activity was the most fun this week?:

My favorite activity this week was probably gorilla trekking. It was so fun and I got to see a new region of Rwanda!
