Autobiography

It is a wonderful school with a diverse community to interact with. As you can imagine though, staying in Mississippi did not satisfy my desire to travel. Instantly, I looked into many study abroad programs, and studying in France made the most sense with my Computer Engineering education.

Study abroad means I can travel out of the country and still study my passion but within another school. I found one such school in Cergy-Pontoise, France, that fits perfectly with my third year of studying at MSU.

So within five months, I had applied for a passport and obtained a visa for the first time. The process of gathering materials while continuing to work hard in school proved to be difficult, yet I knew it would be worth it after I got everything ready. It felt sad to leave my family and friends, and I remained nervous about so many new things!

I will now turn that nervousness into excitement as I look forward to experiencing many new things in France: food, fashion, music, art, and so much more. This is all for the effort to grow and experience new things! I am looking forward to sharing this experience with you!
