






(I say this knowing that you might have a different perspective – let me know if you do!) For example, from what I learned when growing up, it takes getting to know someone for a while until you invite them to your house, let alone have them meet your family. But since experiencing the Latin approach to family through living in South America, much of me now prefers this perspective that family is, for better or worse, an ever-present fact of life!
