Nature News

Since I'm from Hawaiʻi, I think it's a given that I love anything involving swimming, sand, the ocean or snorkeling. After six weeks away from home, finally jumping back into the ocean felt like the perfect cure for all the homework and projects piling up lately. Don't even get me started on midterms starting this week!

Other Nature News from this week:

I wanted to focus mostly on Malta this week to give you guys some variety, but I also managed to squeeze in a backpacking trip through the Dolomites earlier in the week. The Dolomites are a massive mountain range in northern Italy, and they were easily one of the most breathtaking places I have ever seen.

They might even be neck and neck with my favorite coastline back home, the Nā Pali Coast on Kauaʻi. Please promise me you'll try to see it someday, it is unforgettable!

We hiked for three days and stayed in rifugi, which are mountain huts where hikers can eat and sleep. We spent our days trekking through the mountains and eating plenty of bread and peanut butter along the way. Honestly, no complaints.
