Hola (Hello)! I'm Siobhan, but everyone calls me Shio. I just turned 26 years old and grew up in a small town in New Hampshire with my parents and my cat, Kibsy. I have some awesome friends from my hometown that I've known since kindergarten!
When I was younger, I loved ballet and reading books, and I still do. Later, I went to college at Tufts University near Boston. I studied economics (how people spend and make money) and sociology (the study of groups). I even spent some time in Madrid, Spain, where I lived with a Spanish family and made friends with other students. I got to explore different countries in Europe like England, France and Germany. Barcelona, a city in Spain, became my favorite because of its amazing art, architecture and beaches!
Now, I've been living in a rural town in Costa Rica called San Juan de Peñas Blancas for two years with a group called the Peace Corps. Costa Rica is a Spanish-speaking country in Central America known for its nature and cool animals like sloths, butterflies and monkeys! In the Peace Corps, I help students learn English and work with local business owners to help their businesses grow.
I love to keep my body moving, whether it's going on a hike or doing yoga.
