Hi, everyone! My name is Stephanie, and I love to travel.

My home is New Hampshire, but I go to college at Wake Forest University in North Carolina, which is over 12 hours away from my house. That means spending all day in the car just to go home for a visit!. I don't get to see my family very much, so it is always wonderful when I can go back home for vacations. Even though I am not at my house very often, that is okay with me because I enjoy exploring other places and I am not usually homesick. I am so lucky that I get to travel with my school as part of my studies.

At school, I study marine biology, which means I get to learn about all the animals and plants that live in the ocean. I love the water and I really enjoy swimming, but the best part of my future job is that I will get to travel all over the world for my research! I have already been to Canada and Belize (a small country near Mexico) to study marine biology.

One of my favorite things about marine biology is seeing how different the ecosystem is when I visit a new place. An ecosystem is made up of all the animals and plants that live together in one area and interact with each other. In Belize, the underwater ecosystem is based around the coral reef.
