Hello! My name is TJ Sell (TJ is my nickname, and it's short for Timothy Jr. because I'm named after my dad). I grew up in Illinois, in a small town called Belvidere which is about an hour and a half west of Chicago. I have six siblings and even more cousins, so I have a large family! While I was growing up, my family and I did not travel much, but I was always interested in learning about new places and languages. When I enrolled at the University of Michigan in 2012, I decided to major in Spanish and Biopsychology because I was interested in learning how our brains understand foreign languages. I graduated in 2016 and I moved out to Washington DC, where I worked full-time for three years.
I now live in beautiful Andorra, a tiny country (technically referred to as a microstate) between Spain and France. It is divided into seven parishes, which are somewhat similar to the different boroughs of New York City. My apartment is in Andorra la Vella, which is the capital city. It's a very mountainous country with peaks all around. In fact, Andorra la Vella is the highest capital city in Europe! Andorra la Vella translates to "Old Andorra" since Andorra is a very old country, going all the way back to 1278. I live with three other people in my apartment, all of whom are around my age.
