Farewell

When this happened, I got really upset, but after a few hours I decided to look at the bright side of things. I was seeing parts of Spain and France that I never would have seen if had I not taken that bus ride!

3. Do what you feel is best for yourself, regardless of what others think. Before studying abroad, I had a few people tell me that I shouldn't study abroad my junior year. Junior year is an exciting but difficult year in college. You often begin the recruiting process for internships or full time positions and classes get really intense during this time. I kept being told that the classes that I was going to take in Spain were too hard and I might have to repeat them. But guess what? Everything worked out in the end. I passed all my classes, I had a blast during my time abroad, and I have a job after graduation. I'm glad that I decided that this was the best option for myself rather than being scared away by others' opinions.

It might sound like a cliche when I say that studying abroad changed my life and my perspective on life. There's a reason why it's a cliche, and it's because it's true! If any of you decide that you want to go to college (and I hope you do!) I cannot reccommend studying abroad enough. I thought that I wasn't going to be able to do it because I thought it would be expensive, but I worked hard all throughout college so I could apply to scholarships and I went abroad having everything paid!

Thanks so much for following my journey to Spain!  I hope you have a wonderful remainder of the school year.  Keep dreaming about your own future journeys!
