We also tried the world-famous brunost (a brown cheese common in Norway) and a tan-colored whey cheese that had a caramel flavor. After trying the cheeses, we all had different opinions about the brunost, just like our Norwegian hosts!
Since it was so close to the holiday, our hosts encouraged us to write letters to Santa and place them under the tree by the reception desk. We all hoped to get a nice gift the next day, December 24th!
