There are 8.8 million people living in London. The traffic would be much, much worse if every person was driving in a car alone. Therefore, the bus and the tube are most popular transportation for them to travel around in the city on daily basis. Since there are more people and buildings in the city, the roads are a bit smaller than other countries I’ve seen. If everyone starts to drive their cars on the road. It would cause really bad traffic every day and everywhere in London. Also, people in the U.K. care about the environment and prefer to reduce the pollution whenever they can. Using public transportation will reduce a lot more pollution and help the environment in relation to car use.
