Hello and welcome! My name is Heather, and I am from Cranston, Rhode Island. My hometown is one of my favorite places in the whole world, and returning home after my adventures is always a cherished moment. During my time in Rhode Island, I enjoy beach days, sipping on our very own Del's frozen lemonade, and spending time with my family and friends, especially during the holidays.
During my high school years, I joined a robotics program, which was my first exposure to the STEM field. From this experience, I knew I had a passion for a STEM career. I then pursued degrees in biomedical engineering, applied mathematics, and German at the University of Rhode Island. I treasured every experience during my time in college!
Graduating in May 2023, I embarked on a new chapter with the Fulbright Program in Switzerland, an opportunity that combines all my favorite passions into one experience. Now, I'm studying artificial intelligence (AI) in medicine, which uses technology and computers to enhance healthcare and improve the lives of patients.
I am so excited to share this journey with you all! This is a new experience for me, and I can't wait to explore together. Join me on the adventure, Switzerland awaits!
