Moving Katy Through K.T. (Kuala Terengganu)

Cars, after all, generate not only chemical pollution but also create noise pollution and reduce the amount of available space. UMT’s initiative has been very successful, and the students continue to look for new ways to continue to reduce the carbon footprint of the school. One new suggestion is to stop using straws in the cafeteria as a means of reducing the amount of plastic used by the school.

What form of transportation do you usually use? How does this form of transport impact the environment and shape the world in which you live? Are there steps you could take to reduce your carbon footprint? Are there ways in which you could help reduce your school’s carbon footprint?
