I stayed in Shenyang this week. Next week, since we have the entire week off work in celebration of National Day, I will travel to Suzhou, another city in China, to visit some friends.
It is over 6,500 miles from Pennsylvania to Shenyang, China! I have stayed in Shenyang since I have arrived so far, so I haven't traveled much farther than that.
I've taken a bus and a car and walked.
I visited a new park called Beiling Park. It had very beautiful statues, and I bought some delicious popcorn to eat from a street vendor.
I am trying to pack summer clothes for my trip to Suzhou, which is in the southern part of China. I think it will be much warmer there. Shenyang is in the north and is known for its cold winters!
