To go to the Revival ceremony, I had to go to downtown Kingston in a neighborhood called Tivoli Gardens. It was a bit of a trek from where I am.
My trip to Charles Town was crazy! I missed the bus because it left early, so I had to take public transport. Two buses and two cabs later, I made it in over 2.5 hours. The total cost of my trip? $5 U.S. dollars, so I didn't mind too much! Now I know that it takes just $5 each way to get to some of the most beautiful beaches in Jamaica.
I have traveled the entire island by car or by bus. I have driven quite a lot of it myself! The island is absolutely lovely so there are many places I want to see again!
This week, I got around by cab, route taxis (cheap taxis that take many people), car and bus.
I loved the beautiful Charles Town, Tivoli Gardens in Kingston and the office of an important theatre artist. I was humbled by the amount of people I met and places I went.
