Cześć (Hello)! My name is Agata, and I’m from Poland. I grew up in Katowice, a city in the southern part of Poland. Poland is a country in Central Europe, and I love sharing its culture and traditions with people from other countries. One of my favorite things about Poland is its food. I especially like pierogi, which are small dumplings that can have many different fillings. My favorite kind of pierogi have strawberries in them. They are sweet and very delicious.
Right now, I am a student at Colby College in Maine, USA. I am in my third year of college, so I am a junior. I study Economics and History. I like History because I enjoy learning about people and what life was like in the past. I like Economics because I enjoy learning how money, companies, and businesses work.
This fall, I am studying abroad in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. The city is well known for its beautiful buildings, old castles, and bridges. I enjoy walking around Prague, exploring the city, and trying new foods.
I chose to study abroad because I wanted to see new places, meet people from different countries, and learn about their lives. I also wanted to try new foods and have new adventures.
In my free time, I enjoy many different activities. I really like Polish food, Eurovision, Italian music, skateboarding, coloring, and swimming. I also enjoy traveling and learning about different places and cultures.
I am so excited to tell you about my travels and experiences in different parts of the world. I hope that we can learn about the world and have lots of fun together. I can’t wait to hear about your journeys throughout the school year!
