Aiden's Interview with Kevin

Where do you eat lunch? What is your favorite food?:

I eat lunch at school. My favorite thing to eat is pasta with beef. I only like to eat it with a spoon. My favorite food in general is chipa so’o, which is a bread made of mandioca and corn flour, filled with ground beef and egg. 

What language do you speak at school? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

I speak Spanish and Guarani, and I want to learn Portuguese. In Spanish, "hello" is hola, and in Guarani, "hello" is mba’ichapa. 

What are some common kids' names at your school?:

Men: Santiago, Jonatan, Kevin, and Aiden [a joke!]

Women: Jazmine, Paloma, Sofi, Zoe 

 

What subjects do you study in school, and which one is your favorite?:

I study math, Spanish, a little bit of English, Guarini, natural sciences, social sciences and art. My favorite class, however is P.E.

 

What is your homework like?:

My homework is to complete worksheets that are already in the workbook I have for every class. I have homework every day for each class. Sometimes it’s easy, and sometimes it’s hard. 

 

What do you like to do after school? Do you have a favorite sport or game?:

My favorite sport is soccer. I like doing tricks with the soccer ball.  I like Ronaldo more than Messi. Everyone in Paraguay likes Ronaldo better. I also like Neymar, too. I like to play soccer with my friends, Adam, Jonotan and Aron. We are all good at soccer. I also like to play with Jao Pedro.
