--AJ's Journey to Japan

Current Location

Kurashiki, Japan

Hello! My name is AJ Koikoi. This year, I will be teaching and attempting to identify important qualities for teamwork in Japanese sports during my Princeton in Asia Fellowship in Kurashiki, Japan!

It's getting a little cooler in Japan and our university team just completed their season! The Okayama team will finish up the season within the next two weeks.

I hope you had a wonderful time following my journey. It certainly has been wonderful for me! Our time may be coming to an end but I hope that I have piqued your interest in Japan or studying abroad!

Field Notes

There was an earthquake and a tsunami in Japan recently. They were both small, but I decided to dedicate this article to speaking on why earthquakes cause so much panic here.

コンビニ- or Conbini in Japanese means convenience store. These stores have been a lifeline for me, so I thought I would share it with you! Compare these pictures of a Japanese store to your local 7/11!
