¡Hola y bienvenidos (Hello and welcome)! My name is Alanna McFadden and I'm excited to share my journey with you all. I am 21 years old and I'm from Greenville, South Carolina. My favorite activities are reading a good book, trying new foods, and taking walks around the beautiful trails in the city. Since I was a child, I have always wanted to be a doctor. I also have a passion for learning the Spanish language. So when I found a college that could combine both of these passions in one major, I was so excited! Now, I am studying Spanish and International Health at Clemson University.
As part of my program, I am studying abroad at Blas Pascal University in Córdoba, Argentina! I will be taking Spanish language and culture classes and completing an internship at a local health clinic. Currently, I enjoy visiting Argentinian malls, cooling off in the pool, and snacking on alfajores (two cookies with dulce de leche in between)! I look forward to seeing the gauchos (horsemen) of the countryside in Jujuy, the busy city of Buenos Aires, the beautiful Iguazu falls, and the penguins of Patagonia. I can't wait to share all of the wonderful adventures I'll go on with you all!
