This week went to the Czech National Museum and read the excerpts from an exhibition that outlined the shared history of the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Both countries were once united as Czechoslovakia until they split in the 1990s. The Czech region was a more industrious area and helped Slovakia build its roads until they were strong enough to stand on their own.
I enjoy playing chess with my fellow students in Leuven. There is a whole range of players which makes playing exciting as I learn something new every time I play.
KU Leuven has two weeks off from school for Spring Break. Some students return home, others travel and the rest stay in the town. Personally, I will be traveling on the weekends while the remainder of my time will be spent at school.
