Hi there, exchange partners! My name is Alice, and for the next few months, we'll be going on a rollercoaster journey in China together! But before we begin our travels together, I wanted to share some background info about me.
I live in Wenzhou, a small Chinese city well known for its seafood and constant rainy weather. At first, I found the weather strange since I grew up in sunny California, but now I've adapted and you can always find me with an umbrella in hand. I left California for Philadephia, where I attended college and majored in biology and economics. And just a few months after graduation, I landed in China with the opportunity to pursue my passion to better other people's lives.
But my time in China is not always just work and more work. In my free time, I play volleyball, draw, read, and just hang out with my friends! I'm also a huge foodie, so I'll be taking lots of pictures of delicious dishes to share with you all, too.
