I am in Switzerland on a Fulbright Grant to research how our cultural background influences the data collected in the activities from our daily lives. What activities in your day–to-day lives are influenced by your culture, and how?
I have been living in the canton (state) of Valais, Switzerland for 2 months now! I have been enjoying the local cheeses and everyday views of the Alps. There have also been a couple challenges though, such as figuring out how to do laundry in a new country. As I have worked on settling into life in Switzerland, I have learned to be more patient and keep an open mind. I look forward to learning more about the local culture and sharing it with you during my time here!
