Hello everybody! My name is Aaryn, but you can call me AJ. I am 21 years old and live in California with my dog. His name is Potato!
My love for reading started when I was four years old. My dog accidentally pushed me, and I broke my arm. My arm got very red and swelled up like a balloon! I had to go to the doctor and get a cast. While my arm was broken, I was not able to play very much. With nothing else to do, I did a lot of reading. My favorite books were Magic Tree House books, where Jack and Anne travel all over the world. Reading those books made me dream of also traveling to new places.
One Magic Tree House book is titled, Viking Ships at Sunrise. In that book, Jack and Anne meet Vikings while in Ireland. Vikings are a word for people who lived in Sweden a long time ago. When I was little, I thought Vikings were really cool.
When I finish college, I am going to be a teacher. I went to Sweden to learn more about the world. Knowing more about the world will help me be a better teacher. That is also why I am talking with all of you! I want to be the best teacher I can!
