Hi, class! We are coming up on the end of March, which means our journey together with Reach the World is coming to an end. In April, I will be traveling back to Texas for a couple of weeks to present my research at a conference. I am really excited to connect with family and friends while I am there! After that, I will return to El Salvador, where I will continue enjoying pupusas and exploring until November.

I have truly loved getting to know El Salvador. The kindness of the people is something I will carry with me wherever I go. The beauty of the country is incredible, with unforgettable beaches and towering volcanoes. I am so excited to continue discovering new parts of the country during the rest of my time here.

I am so thankful for the opportunity to live here this year through the U.S. Fulbright Program. I hope you have enjoyed learning about El Salvador’s culture through my experiences, and I hope you find yourselves abroad one day too! There are many resources and ways to make travel possible, especially through educational funding. I am here thanks to the U.S.
