Traveler Bio

Hola! My name is Allie Murphy. I am 22 years old and from Kennedale, Texas! After graduating high school, I attended the University of Texas at Austin where I received a Bachelors of Science in Public Health and Certificates in Business and Medical Spanish. I now live in Galveston, Texas, where I am pursuing a Masters of Public Health at the University of Texas Medical Branch. In my freetime, I love going to the beach, reading, and cuddling with my dog!

My academic focus is on infectious disease and teen pregnancy; I applied for and was fortunate to receive a U.S. Fulbright Research Grant to study teen pregnancy in El Salvador throughout 2026! I am excited to share my adventures with you all and cannot wait to hear about your journeys through the school year!
