Ahoj! My name is Allison. I am a teacher and a world traveler, and I can’t wait to share my adventures with you! I am 22 years old and I am originally from Macungie, Pennsylvania, but right now I am living in Kaplice, Czech Republic. Kaplice is a small town in the South Bohemian region, only 10 miles from the border with Austria. I am here as a part of the Fulbright Program to teach English to high school students.
I decided to travel here to learn more about different people and cultures, and become the best teacher I can be! I have always loved to meet new people, and I dream of traveling all over the world to experience as many different foods, types of music, schools, and languages as I can. I love to connect and build community wherever I go, and experiencing small-town life in a new country is opening up a whole new community for me, which has been such a life-changing experience. I can't wait to share what I learn with all of you!
I recently graduated from Villanova University, where I studied Biology, Education, and Disability Studies. There I discovered my passion for education, and I can't wait to grow that passion here and learn more about global education systems. I love to spend time outdoors, cook, try new foods, and experience all that the world has to offer. I am so happy that you are joining me on this journey!
