This week consisted of trips inside of Spain. The first stop was Toledo, which is south of Madrid (45 miles, 90 miles round trip). Then I headed north to Pamplona, which was about 242 miles each way. (Round trip: 484 miles) So in total, this week I traveled about 574 miles!
Before this trip I had accumulated a total of 8100 miles. Now it is 8674 miles!
To get to Toledo, we went by bus. To get to Pamplona, we went by car.
Toledo, known as the city of three cultures, was the most interesting place I visited this week. Christians, Arabs and Jews lived together inside the fortress for centuries, so the city is full of synagogues, mosques, churches and palaces. Toledo is really small, so you can walk it all in one day!
Spring Break is coming, so keep tuned for the next journey: Italy, Monaco and Marseille (France)!
