Hello, my name is Andy Lai and I am a pre-med/science student with a big interest in the environment around me. I hope you'll join me on an exciting adventure through the forests in Panama. I traveled to Panama to develop a deeper understanding of (and appreciation for) where our food comes from. Someday, I would like to become a naturopathic doctor and a conservation farmer.
This past fall, I journeyed to Panama in order to meet some of the Naso tribes and Ngobe who engage in different farming practices. I documented some of their cooking practices, I learned a lot about how religion and agriculture are very connected. Join me on this spiritual journey into the power of biodiversity, sustainability, and farming to see how the food we eat can shape culture.
