Hello, my name is Angela Hernandez. I am 21 year old college student from a little city all the way at the bottom tip of Texas called Brownsville. Growing up in Brownsville, I lived right next to the Mexican border. It could be said that I lived two lives. Most of my family lived in Mexico, while the close relationships I made in club activities and school were from the United States. I was constantly surrounded by two different cultures that helped me become more daring and unafraid to try new things. Once it came to deciding where to pursue my education, I instinctively chose to go to Kalamazoo College--literally on the other side of the country. I am now a double major in East Asian studies and psychology. I've worked hard to make my goal of studying abroad come true, and I'm looking forward to sharing my experiences in South Korea with you!
