Goodbye For Now!

Wow, I cannot believe this semester is over. Actually, I just graduated from college on December 9th! My time in college has come to an end, and I can't help but look back on all of the incredible things that I've done the last three and a half years, including traveling to Russia. My trips to Russia have been the most transformative of my life. Traveling really opens your eyes to what is important to you and to the way other people live their lives around the world. I really encourage you to travel any chance you get and do not limit yourself.

When I graduated from high school with 88 people, I never imagined that I would study abroad at the Harvard of Russia. I never imagined that I would meet some of my best friends in Russia or that I would make some of my best memories in Russia. It might not seem possible now, but you never know where your life will take you. Just because you're from a small town in the middle of nowhere doesn't mean you can't travel anywhere you want to. I did, and I was able to get it fully paid for, with the help of the Gilman Scholarship, leading me to my next point.

Not only is traveling a possibility for you but so is college or anything really. Don't limit yourself and your potential. You are capable of so much more than you know. I know you're probably thinking, "This girl is ridiculous. She doesn't know me or my life." And, you'd be very right.
