As in Madrid, Spanish is spoken in Barcelona. Since it is the capital of the Catalonia region, Catalan is also spoken.
The euro (€) is used here, too!

The best meal I had this week was Japanese udon noodles. Udon noodles are thick and made out of wheat flour. I ordered my meal in the form of a hot noodle soup with chicken curry. It was so delicious!
To prepare for my trip to Barcelona, I listened to songs that had Barcelona in the title. For example, I listened to B"arcelona" by Ed Sheeran and "Barcelona" by George Ezra!
Hands down, the most fun activity I experienced this week was traveling to Barcelona. I love art, so the highlight of the trip was visiting the Picasso museum in Barcelona! This single museum had 4,251 works exhibited by Picasso. I also enjoyed visiting the Sagrada Família (Sacred Family). This is a beautiful Roman Catholic basilica in Barcelona.
