My host mom made one of my favorite dishes called Lagman. It's an Uzbek soup with tomato-based broth, veggies, meat and thick noodles.
I listened to the radio while in the car with my host parents. It made me feel like I had travelled back five years in a time machine.
I had a sleepover with my friend Ksyusha. We stayed up late talking about life and how much we've changed since we saw each other last (five years ago!).
I read about the history of the Temple of All Religions, which I got to visit. It's been under contruction for almost 40 years!
Ksyusha and I went for a bike ride around her neighborhood and found a swing set near the lake.
