I first want to thank all of you for coming along on this journey with me. I have loved seeing and speaking with each of you. From learning some Czech and seeing what it is like to be a kid in another country to exploring cities across Europe, I have learned so much, but I have learned the most from you all. At our last meeting, all of you helped me to see paintings from a new perspective and understand their different meanings. But it wasn't just the paintings. Your curiosity and creativity inspired me to look more deeply and to be curious about the world around me. I hope each of you understands how special and valuable you are, and please never stop sharing your perspectives!
Writing these articles, I have been able to reflect on the cultures, languages and environments around me. Sometimes it is hard to put these experiences into words, as I am still learning how they have affected me, but in doing so, I have been able to reflect on how incredible they really are.
I hope all of you stay curious about the world and take every opportunity you get to travel and see what is beyond the U.S or Alabama. But, while you are in Alabama, I hope you seek diversity in your own community. Connect with people that are different from you, whether that be through looks, language or culture.
