What main languages are spoken here?:

People here mostly speak a language called Czech. Some also speak German and Polish. (The countries of Germany and Poland are next to the Czech Republic, like neighbors.) In Prague, many people can speak a little English, too, because lots of tourists visit.

What type of money is used here?:

The type of money used here is the Czech koruna. 20 Czech koruna equal one American dollar.

How much does a bottle of water cost?:

A regular bottle of water costs about 15 Czech koruna, which is about 72 cents.

What was the best meal this week?:

The best meal this week was trying chicken Kyiv, which is a popular meal in Europe. It is chicken stuffed with butter and then fried until crispy. It is definitely not healthy for you, but it tasted yummy!

What music did I listen to this week?:

I have listened to a lot of old music while I have been here. My favorite song to listen to here is '"Tis Autumn" by Nat King Cole!

What activity was the most fun this week?:

While I was in Karlovy Vary, I got to go to a peaceful place called a spa! I had some massages, and my favorite activity was a massage of my face. A massage is when someone gently rubs your skin to help you feel calm. It was very relaxing!
