Ciao (Hello)! My name is Anthea Castillo and I am 20 years old. I come from Ontario, California which is a town about an hour away from Los Angeles. Some of my favorite hobbies are: crocheting, drawing, watching movies, and painting! I have always had a huge love for art. So, I decided to study abroad in Florence, Italy this fall to learn and explore art! With the help of the Gilman Scholarship, I was able to end up going! Before I study abroad, I have been majoring in Marketing Management and Business Administration at Mount San Antonio College. I always thought ads, trailers, and commercials were pretty interesting and I like learning as much as I can about it. Currently, I am starting to learn about many famous pieces of art that I’m sure you’ll recognize. From the Last Supper to the Sistine Chapel, there is an endless amount of artworks to discover.
