In Korean restaurants, most foods are separated into a couple of dishes in which you can mix in the different flavors depending on your liking. I found this super interesting because in most cases, when I ate bulgogi in the U.S., it was already prepared to be mixed, yet here it was meant to be eaten by itself as well.
In the case of bulgogi, the meat that is used to make the dish is a special cut which is not too thin nor too thick, and many restaurant have signs that say "Only Korean beef ". I found this very interesting because it means that most of these restaurants use local butcheries, which helps the local businesses thrive.
