G'day, mate! My name is Ariana Sosa but feel free to call me Ari. It is very common in Australia to cut down words, so my name could be the first for you to get a feel for the Australian lingo!
I was born and raised in Miami, Florida but grew up with a Hispanic upbringing since my mother is from Lima, Peru and my father is from Havana, Cuba. I'm currently studying in Richmond, Virginia to complete my bachelor's degree in biology and Healthcare Studies in hopes of getting my master's degree or Ph.D. in Public Health. Aside from academics, I'm avidly passionate about dance since I was four years old. I started with ballet and now dance modern and contemporary at the University of Richmond. Coincidentally, I plan to dance salsa and bachata as a company member here in Australia!
I'm thrilled to share my adventures with you all and can't wait to hear about yours as the school year progresses!
