Ba Beneen Yoon - See You Next Time

All of my mentors are very kind and took time from their livelihoods to teach me their trades.
  • I got to take gymnastics classes at a local high school and see the difference between sports in the U.S and Senegal.
  • I visited Magic Land an amusement park in Dakar, Senegal with some of the other Fulbrighter's in SubSaharan Africa to bond and talk about better ways to teach.
  • Finally, I had the opportunity to meet all of you and share my story which has made my experience 100 times better than I ever dreamed.
  • While my time in Senegal is short it has still taught me a lot. Most importantly, that we can all do amazing things even if they are hard. I always dreamed of teaching internationally and with a lot of work and persistance I made and you can too. Chase all of your dreams and remember to enjoy the ride!

I hope you enjoyed my journey, until next time,
