Hi! My name is Arquala Davis. I am from Killeen, Texas, and I am majoring in Health and Society at the University of Texas at Austin. After graduation, I want to go to graduate school to study epidemiology, which looks at a lot of data to determine causes of illness and differences between different communities.
I recently traveled to Seoul, South Korea to study the Korean language and media culture. I applied for and received a Gilman International Scholarship, which helped make this experience possible. During my time abroad, I studied Korean so I could communicate with people and learn more about them. I love K-pop and Korean films, and I am super excited to talk about all of the wonders of South Korea and more with you on this virtual exchange journey. Lets go!
