The weather was very unpredictable. In the mornings and evenings, it was quite chilly. However, throughout the day, it would get very warm. Some days, I wore long-sleeve turtlenecks, and other days I wore shorts.
One of my neighbors has a gato (cat) called Richie. I see him quite often because he is a very friendly pet. I also saw a lot of dogs and their owners walking on their street. On Monday, I realized my plant had a small snail resting on it. I had to remove it and put it safely somewhere else.
I saw my favorite flower in the wild: passion fruit flower! The same plant that provides a delicious fruit also produces a beautiful purple and white flower. It smells amazing.
Montevideo has a lot of trees, especially plátano (plantain) trees. Plátano trees grow small yellow fluff balls which fall during spring. I am excited that spring has already come, but the plátano fluff balls are in every single street of Montevideo.
