Salvo said he wanted to be a chef and was not very interested in the sciences until college, where he discovered environmental engineering. He has since had a lot of field experience, including the highest peak of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines mountains! Salvo wanted me to include that no matter what anyone tells you or what you think you can or can't do – anything is possible with passion and effort! Anyone is capable of a career in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)!
