Think about studying abroad while you are in college or spending a summer learning a new language abroad.
In the meantime, do not forget about all the things you can learn while you are still at home! Take some time to talk to someone from a different culture. Try out learning a new language. Ask yourparents to take you to the river or to the mountains upstate. By seeking out new things in our everyday lives, we prepare ourselves for the adventures of travels to come.
As we say in Switzerland, this is not an adieu (goodbye), but rather an au revoir (see you later).
