How do you get to school? Are you allowed to go to school by yourself?:

"I go to school with the public bus. Yes, I am allowed to go places by myself because I live in a very small town and we know everyone. It wasn’t like that when I was younger, but when I turned 10 I was allowed to start going out by myself.” - Giorgia

Where do you eat lunch? What is your favorite food?:

"I eat lunch at home most of the time, sometimes I can get something else. My favorite food is McDonalds, I always get nuggets." - Carol

"Regular nuggets?" - Giorgia

"No, spicy nuggets always." - Carol

What language do you speak at school? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

"At school I speak Italian, and the same at home. To say "hello" you say "ciao!'" - Carol

"I speak English and Italian at home, since I'm part Australian we use both." - Max

What are some common kids' names at your school?:

"This is hard...Vincenzo definitely, and Francesca..." - Carol

"Martina?" - Giorgia

"Oh yes Martina!" - Carol

What subjects do you study in school, and which one is your favorite?:

"We study Italian, Spanish, English, human sciences, history, philosophy, physical education and math... I think that's all of them! My favorite is human sciences: we talk about relationships between people, emotions and life. Either history or math is the most difficult, I have to study a lot. English is fun though, I like it." - Carol
