Hello, it is nice to meet you Classroom PS 157! My name is Andrew Larson, and I am from a city in Southern California called Ventura. Ventura is a suburban beach town that has delicious Mexican food, beautiful beaches and wonderful hiking spots. In my free time, I like to drink green tea and relax. I also watch a lot of anime, and I like to discover different types of music. I can play the piano and drums, and I even started learning how to play a traditional Korean fiddle called the haegeum. I like being from Ventura because the weather is always sunny, and it has so many beautiful beaches. Another cool aspect about Ventura is that it is in between two major cities, Los Angeles and Santa Barbara.
I am a fifth-year at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). I really love my school. UCSB is located right on the beach, so the weather is always fresh and sunny. Since my classes are so close to the beach, I love going for a quick swim after I’m finished with classes. At UCSB I was involved in many different activities including being co-president for my residential hall, working as a desk-attendant and participating in academic conferences. At UCSB, my major is Global Studies.
