We ate dinner together at a highly-recommended restaurant near the river (my Food Field Note discusses my meal at Trattoria 13 Gobbi) and then we went out to a few places very common amongst study abroad students. Here, I saw friends from my host institution (Fashion Institute of Technology) as well as a sea of other students. We danced, explored and made friends with other girls!
I am a reader, but I am never ashamed to admit how distracted I can get. Life is busy and beautiful. When I have time, I am enjoy the classics and am currently trying to make time to finish Dracula by Bram Stoker!
I have been trying to find time and locations that best suit my running habits, as I am quite the runner back home. I have not been keeping up with this much so in the meantime, I'll tell you about the game I played with some friends! I'm sure most people have heard of 'Impostor,' the mobile game where everyone knows of a word aside from the impostor, who needs to pretend to blend in. A group of us were at our friend's apartment waiting to meet up with some other friends, and we played the game for a few rounds. It was very funny because some people couldn't figure out how to play, and some people were taking it way too seriously! Either way, it was lots of fun.
While I took the train to Rome with some friends, some of my roommates spent the weekend in Milan at the Olympics! They bought tickets to the opening ceremony and saw the most gorgeous stadium and displays. They absolutely loved Milan and came back with sweatshirts and stories!
