English Lessons in School

This week, I traveled to Narva, a town on the Russian boarder, to teach an English class to third graders. We talked about Thanksgiving, soccer, and Estonia!

The Estonian countryside reminded me of my school in Iowa; both have many windmills
I made sure to have a good breakfast before my two hour bus ride to Narva - a cinnamon roll called "Kaneelikuklid".

I taught the kids to make "hand turkeys" where they wrote what they were thankful for on each finger

The school lunch in Narva was potatoes with cheese, slices of bread, and a fish and chicken meat loaf, and for dessert they gave us a chocolate and cherry hand pie
