I think because I have asked questions about their daily lives and have listened to their answers, they now feel comfortable with me. This will be important when I begin teaching in the classroom.
My journey has been in Malaysia. Wherever your journeys take you, whether it’s to go to college, to travel, to start a new job, my advice is to be brave! What does it mean to be brave? For me, it means not being afraid to ask questions and being patient enough to listen to the answer. Being brave means learning from others who are different from you. While being in Malaysia, I have found that being brave is the best way to learn the most!
