A Day in the Life of Sandra

I like staple, quality pieces, but I'm also 35 now. My sense of fashion has evolved a lot! I tend to care less about fashion and tend to wear more comfortable pieces.

What do you like to do in your free time?:

I love discovering new activities and meeting new people. I'm always trying to find new things to do. After living in London, I learned to check out new apps like MeetUp to meet new groups and try new things. That's how I discovered aerial yoga and learned salsa dancing. I also love to hike and travel.

What language(s) do you speak? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

I speak five languages including French (my mother tongue), English, Greek, Spanish and Dutch. Hello in French is "Bonjour."

Do you have pets?:

Yes, I have a cat; her name is Nessie. My fiancé and I adopted her two years ago when we were living in the United Kingdom, so she moved back with us to Brussels. She's also a very international cat; her breed is French!

Have you traveled? Where have you traveled to?:

Yes, I've been to Mexico, U.S. and many places in Europe. I was born in Burundi in Central Africa where I spent my first few years.

What do you do for work?:

I'm a Marketing Manager.

Is there anything else you would like to say to students in the United States?:

Well, it's always hard to come up with something for people you don't know, but maybe that they should travel and try living in a different country. I think that it's the best thing anyone can do. You learn so much from living in a different country. It's not always easy, but it really opens up your mind.
