Prudancia Maluba
I live here in Dzaleka Camp. To explain [where I live] is very difficult because even me, it's like I'm a new arrive. I arrived in 2021. I am here for almost 4 years. I live in Dzaleka Lisungwi. Lisungwi is a city [within the camp], like another city, but we live besides the... we call... (she couldn't find the words here, so I asked here about her house).
My house is very small. There we live 5 person, me and my family. Like my mother and my young sister. Me, my mother, and two young sister, and my niece. My house has two rooms: one room for my young sister and niece, and another for me and my mom. In the salon is where we cook. It is made of mud brick and thatch roof. To arrive to my house I walk only.
My family like peace. When we are together we need to chat, to enjoy, yeah. I am from Democratic Republic of Congo and came to [Dzaleka Refugee Camp] separate from my family. My mom, she has came here and then I was continued to learn there. When I was done, that is, I decided to come here. When my mom came [in 2019], she was with my young sister. [I came after completing] secondary [school]. We came in bus.
Many things. There is people, there is house, there is markets, shops, and yeah (I had to re-ask the question as she didn't quite understand). [To arrive at these places] we walk and go with [taxi] motobike.
